Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to attend the 11th AIIB Board of Governors annual meeting in Doha

Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman is on an official visit to Qatar from 27th to 29th September, 2026.
She will attend the 11th Annual Meeting of Board of Governors of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Doha on 28th September 2026.
She attends as the Indian Governor to the AIIB. India is the second largest shareholder of the bank.
She is scheduled to meet the AIIB President and her counterparts from Jordan, Switzerland, Algeria, Saudi Arabia and Nepal.
She is also expected to meet Qatar's government leadership and engage with Qatari business leaders and investors.
