Thiruvananthapuram to host the conference of Public Accounts Committee chairpersons of Parliament and the legislatures

The Lok Sabha Secretariat has said that a two-day conference of the chairpersons of the Public Accounts Committees of Parliament and of the State and Union Territory legislatures will be held at Thiruvananthapuram. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will inaugurate the conference, and he will also address the closing session. The theme is 'Audit, Accountability and Good Governance - The Evolving Role of Public Accounts Committee'. Kerala Chief Minister V. D. Satheesan, Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh and Kerala Assembly Speaker Thiruvanchur Radhakrishnan will speak at the inaugural session. K. C.
