African Union Commission names Vanessa Nakate of Uganda as Special Envoy for Youth

The Chairperson of the African Union Commission has appointed Vanessa Nakate of Uganda as Special Envoy for Youth. The Special Envoy for Youth carries the voice of young Africans into the work of the Commission and its organs. The African Union Commission is the secretariat of the African Union, which has its headquarters at Addis Ababa in Ethiopia and succeeded the Organisation of African Unity.
