Coal despatch to power plants rises by around 36% from the September low, says the Ministry of Coal

October is averaging about 9% higher than September in despatch to the power sector.
Rail loading is averaging over 465 rakes per day in October, and the target of 470 rakes was met on three consecutive days.

The drawdown of stock has therefore fallen by more than half.
The Ministry notes that rebuilding of coal stock at the plants has not yet started.
