The Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting has issued its communique from St. John's in Antigua and Barbuda. The meeting ran from 1 to 4 November 2026 under the theme Accelerating Partnerships and Investment for a Prosperous Commonwealth. The communique reaffirms earlier Commonwealth mandates, declarations and ministerial outcomes, and endorses the Outcome Statement of the Commonwealth Law Ministers Meeting on maritime boundaries and sea-level rise. It recognises the Nadi Declaration on Democratic Resilience and Participation as a framework for the association's work, and welcomes the Blue Pacific Ocean of Peace Declaration adopted by Pacific Islands Forum leaders. The communique notes that the Commonwealth covers a population of 2.7 billion people and that 97 Accredited Organisations work with it. The summit is normally held every two years and is the association's highest-level gathering.
