Goa fixes its November ration quota, with free rice for Antyodaya and priority households

The Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs has allotted the ration quota for November 2026 in Goa.
Under the Antyodaya Anna Yojana, which runs under the National Food Security Act, 2013, each card gets 35.00 kg of rice free of cost. Priority Household cards get 5.00 kg of fortified rice per beneficiary, free of cost.
Above Poverty Line Tide Over cards get 12.00 kg of fortified rice per card at Rs. 12.50 and 8.00 kg of wheat per card at Rs. 10.00. Under the Welfare Institution Scheme, 15 kg per inmate of rice or wheat is given, at Rs. 6.15 for rice and Rs. 4.80 for wheat.
Fair price shop dealers must display stock details and a sample of the grain quality. Complaints may be made to the Assistant Director or Inspector of the Taluka Civil Supplies Office or to the department at Junta House, Panaji, and the helpline is 18002330022.

Antyodaya Anna Yojana: 35.00 kg rice per card, free of cost Priority Household: 5.00 kg fortified rice per beneficiary, free of cost APL Tide Over: 12.00 kg rice at Rs. 12.50 and 8.00 kg wheat at Rs. 10.00
Why it matters for exams: The difference between the Antyodaya per-card entitlement and the priority household per-person entitlement under the 2013 Act is a classic question.
