Indonesia's 13th Sharia Economic Festival closes with Rp3.16 trillion in business matching deals

Bank Indonesia closed the 13th Indonesia Sharia Economic Festival (ISEF) 2026 on 18 October 2026 at the Jakarta International Convention Center.
The festival ran from 14 to 18 October 2026 and was organised by Bank Indonesia with the National Committee for Islamic Economy and Finance (KNEKS).
Its theme was "Accelerating Sustainable Islamic Economic and Financial Growth through Synergy and Digital Transformation".
Business matching transactions in sharia financing and trade reached Rp3.16 trillion, made up of Rp2.6 trillion in sharia financing and Rp558.4 billion in sharia trade.
Commitments for cooperation in sharia money and foreign exchange markets reached Rp6.05 trillion, and halal food and fashion sales reached Rp13.85 billion.
The festival drew about 93,000 visitors and more than 1,000 halal industry players. Bank Indonesia Deputy Governor Solikin M. Juhro spoke at the closing.
