Lavrov tells UN General Assembly that Russia, Belarus and partners have launched work on a Eurasian Charter on Diversity and Multipolarity

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov addressed the General Debate of the UN General Assembly's 81st session on Saturday 26 September 2026.
He announced that Russia, Belarus and like-minded partners had adopted a statement in New York launching work on a Eurasian Charter on Diversity and Multipolarity in the 21st Century.
He called it a new continent-wide architecture of peace and development.
He said Moscow's military operation in Ukraine would be carried through to the end.
