Background

The Local Self Government Department portal of Kerala lists the Panchayat Directorate, the Urban Affairs Directorate and Rural Development among its departments.
Institutions linked from the portal include the Kerala State Planning Board, Information Kerala Mission, the Local Government Commission and the Kerala Institute of Local Administration.
