National Employment Services was chosen as the best department, with ₹25,000, a plaque and a citation. Thrissur is the best district and receives ₹20,000, a plaque and a citation. In the book-writing category, Sundev N, Joint Secretary in the Minority Welfare Department, came first. Officials in Groups A, B and C were also honoured; first-place winners get ₹20,000 and second-place winners ₹10,000.
