RBI extends directions on The Baghat Urban Co-operative Bank, Solan, to 8 January 2027

The Reserve Bank of India has extended the all-inclusive directions imposed on The Baghat Urban Co-operative Bank Limited, Solan, Himachal Pradesh.
The directions were first issued by an RBI directive dated 6 October 2025 for six months, from the close of business on 8 October 2025 to 8 April 2026.
They were last extended on 1 July 2026.
The fresh extension runs for three months, from the close of business on 8 October 2026 to the close of business on 8 January 2027, subject to review.
The RBI acted under sub-section (1) of Section 35A read with Section 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949.
All other terms and conditions of the directive remain unchanged.
The RBI stated that the extension does not by itself mean that it is satisfied with the financial position of the bank.
