Thai Foreign Minister Sihasak meets US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau in New York

On 24 September 2026, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sihasak Phuangketkeow met United States Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau on the sidelines of UNGA81 in New York.
Both sides underscored the longstanding Thai-U.S. alliance and strategic partnership.
They welcomed cooperation in defence and security, combating online scams and counternarcotics.
They also noted the progress of the bilateral trade negotiations.
The two sides exchanged views on the situation in Myanmar and the Thai-Cambodia situation.
