The Union Home Ministry centre behind the 1930 helpline that Kerala's CLICK campaign tells fraud victims to call
Background
Kerala Police's CLICK campaign, launched in Kochi, tells victims of online fraud to call 1930 at once.
1930 is the toll-free National Cyber Crime Helpline, which works round the clock; complaints can also be filed on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCRP).
Both are run by the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), set up by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) as an attached office.
In June 2026 I4C added a Grievance Redressal Mechanism (GRM) for bank accounts frozen or seized during cybercrime investigations.
It also added a Money Restoration Module (MRM), through which victims can apply for refunds of money frozen or recovered after a complaint.
In plain words
I4C Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre — The Home Ministry's nodal centre for tackling cybercrime.
NCRP National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal — The online portal for filing cybercrime complaints.
