This geography underlies the notices the Union Territory Administration published in October 2026, which come from offices in Daman, Silvassa and Diu.
The Union Territory has three districts: Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu.

The Daman Ganga river is listed for all three districts, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli lies on the western side of the foothills of the Western Ghats with 204 sq. km of forest cover.
