UNESCO renews its Indigenous languages partnership with Motorola and the Lenovo Foundation

The renewal was announced on 20 October 2026 under the International Decade of Indigenous Languages.
Motorola and the Lenovo Foundation made a new financial contribution covering two priority areas over the next two years.

An Indigenous Collections App was launched in July 2026 with the Rainy Lake Ojibwe community, offering Ojibwe vocabulary, oral histories and narratives.
