BJP-Tipra Motha alliance wins 4,320 of 4,594 declared seats in TTAADC village committee polls

Elections were held to 587 Village Committees of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC), covering 2,634 constituencies and 4,597 seats. Of these, 167 Village Committees with 1,644 seats were uncontested. Results were declared for 4,594 seats, with three seats remaining vacant. The BJP-Tipra Motha alliance won 4,320 of the 4,594 seats, of which the BJP won 859 and its ally IPFT 33. UNI described TIPRA Motha as the dominant political force across the Village Committees.
