Election Commission tells the Telangana High Court that the final voter list under the Special Intensive Revision will be published on November 9

The Election Commission of India informed the Telangana High Court that the final list of voters under the Special Intensive Revision in the State will be published on November 9.
The Commission said a voter who claimed he had received no notice had in fact filed a Form 6 application for inclusion of his name, which has been processed.
It also said a response with detailed instructions had been issued on September 1 to a voter whose name was not in the draft roll.
The court was hearing a plea challenging notices issued to electors over minor discrepancies in their enumeration forms through an automated data-matching platform.
The Division Bench of Acting Chief Justice P. Sam Koshy and Justice Narsing Rao Nandikonda heard the matter, in which a separate public interest litigation on the larger issue has also been filed.

Final roll date: November 9 Form for inclusion of name: Form 6
Why it matters for exams: Form 6, the SIR and the role of the High Court in roll disputes are all exam-relevant electoral law points.
