Jitendra Singh launches five regional-language science magazines on CSIR's 85th Foundation Day

Minister of State for Science and Technology Dr Jitendra Singh unveiled five new popular science magazines in Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali and Assamese. They are published by CSIR-NIScPR, the CSIR National Institute of Science Communication and Policy Research. The launch took place on the 85th Foundation Day of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. The Ministry said the aim is to make credible and engaging scientific knowledge accessible to readers in their own languages and to highlight regional scientific achievements.
