Kenya announced its second Ebola death on 23 October 2026 as the virus outbreak spreads from the Democratic Republic of the Congo to several parts of Africa.

She had developed symptoms during quarantine and was a close relative of a Kenyan man who died of Ebola earlier in October 2026.
