Kenya's Ministry of Health said on 11 October 2026 that it had not recorded any new Ebola case since its first patient died on October 5.

All 122 contacts of the patient have been identified; 108 are in quarantine and none has shown symptoms.
The patient, a Kenyan who travelled from the Democratic Republic of the Congo through Uganda, was confirmed on October 6 as Kenya's first imported case.
Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale said Kenya has screened 667,675 travellers at 26 points of entry.
Kenya is the fourth country to record a case linked to the eastern Congo outbreak.
