Nagaland crosses its RAMP targets with 13,676 Udyam registrations and 3,423 FSSAI registrations and licences

Nagaland has gone past its targets under two interventions of the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Scheme. The first is Udyam Registration, the online registration that gives a small enterprise its formal identity. The second is FSSAI Registration and Licensing, which food businesses need before they can operate legally. The state logged 13,676 Udyam registrations and 3,423 FSSAI registrations and licences. Both totals are higher than the goals set for Nagaland under the scheme. It becomes easier for small units to reach credit, markets and government support once they enter the formal system.
