The PM GatiShakti National Master Plan, launched in October 2021, completes five years.
Its geospatial digital platform was developed indigenously by BISAG-N, the Bhaskaracharya National Institute for Space Applications and Geo-informatics.
The platform integrates more than 1,800 data layers, covering 58 Central Ministries/Departments and all 36 States/Union Territories.
The Network Planning Group evaluated over 400 infrastructure projects worth approximately ₹20.23 lakh crore.
The PM GatiShakti Public platform, through the Unified Geospatial Interface, was launched in September 2025.
The Government has decided to set up an Integrated Transport and Logistics Authority (ITLA) for long-term transport planning.
