President of Singapore visits the Riksdag during state visit to Sweden

The Riksdag announced that the Speaker, Andreas Norlen, would receive President of Singapore Tharman Shanmugaratnam at the Riksdag on 19 October 2026. The meeting is part of a state visit to Sweden at the invitation of His Majesty The King. At the Riksdag the President is to meet members of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Committee on Industry and Trade. The visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation in trade, investment, innovation and research.
