Rs 6728.33 crore approved for eight stretches of 305.50 km on National Highway-913 in Arunachal Pradesh

The Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, approved Rs 6728.33 crore for the construction of eight stretches totalling 305.50 km on National Highway-913 in Arunachal Pradesh.
National Highway-913 is the Frontier Highway.
The stretches will be built to Intermediate Lane Road standard on Engineering, Procurement and Construction mode.
The road will connect sparsely populated areas of Upper Arunachal.
The approval was announced in a release issued on 29 February 2024.
The Frontier Highway is being built in packages, each separately sanctioned.
