National Highway-913 is the Frontier Highway, and the sanctioned work is transitioning to an Intermediate Lane configuration on Engineering, Procurement and Construction mode.
The named sections are Huri-Taliha, Bile-Migging, Kharsang-Maio-Gandhigram-Vijaynagar and Bomdila-Nafra-Lada.
The sanction was announced in a release issued on 12 March 2024.
It came within weeks of an earlier approval of Rs 6728.33 crore for 305.50 Km of the same highway.
The Frontier Highway is thus being sanctioned stretch by stretch rather than as a single contract.
