Background
Amur falcons reach the Doyang reservoir in Nagaland between mid-October and mid-November each year, which puts one of the State's five main rivers in the news every autumn.
The Directorate of Information and Public Relations names the main rivers as the Dhansiri, Doyang, Dikhu, Tizu and Lanye.
