Singapore's Prime Minister co-chairs the ninth Qatar-Singapore High-Level Joint Committee in Doha

Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong is on an Official Visit to Qatar from 18 to 20 October 2026.
He then travels to the United Arab Emirates from 20 to 22 October 2026.
In Doha he calls on the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, and co-chairs the ninth Qatar-Singapore High-Level Joint Committee with him.
He also meets Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Bin Jassim Al Thani.
These are his first visits to the Middle East as Prime Minister.
The delegation includes Minister for Foreign Affairs Vivian Balakrishnan and Minister for Energy, Trade and Industry (Energy and Industry) Tan See Leng.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Energy, Trade and Industry (Trade) Gan Kim Yong is Acting Prime Minister during the absence.
