Why it matters for exams: The durable facts are that SIMBEX stands for Singapore-India Maritime Bilateral Exercise, that it is held between the Indian Navy and the Republic of Singapore Navy, that Visakhapatnam is the headquarters of the Eastern Naval Command, and that INS Nilgiri is the lead ship of the Nilgiri class built under Project 17A.
