Two missiles hit a military area of Aden airport in Yemen

Two missiles struck an area of Aden airport in Yemen that hosts a military unit aligned with the internationally recognised government, police said. No casualties were reported. Police attributed the attack to the Houthi movement, and no group claimed responsibility. It was the second such attack on the airport in less than a week, coming a day after a strike on a palace complex in Aden. Aden has been the seat of the internationally recognised government of Yemen since 2015. Yemen's government separately said two missiles had been fired at Aden airport.

Target: Military area of Aden airport Missiles: Two Casualties: None reported Seat of government since: Aden, since 2015
Why it matters for exams: Yemen's divided capital arrangement, with Aden as the seat of the recognised government since 2015, is a standard West Asia geography and polity fact.
