Campus to Booth: a special drive to put young voters on Kerala's electoral rolls

A special voter registration campaign called Campus to Booth has begun in Kerala's educational institutions.
The Election Commission runs the drive, which goes on from 2 to 7 November in colleges and schools.
Anyone who has turned 18 can register, and those who will turn 18 on 1 January 2027 may apply in advance.
Students can finish registration on their phones through the ECI NET app, and the sessions teach them how to use it.
Electoral Literacy Clubs in the institutions are tracing eligible students who are not yet on the rolls.
Institutions that reach full voter registration will be honoured on National Voters' Day, 25 January.
The Alappuzha district launch was held at St. Joseph's College and was inaugurated by District Collector Shaji V. Nair.
