Central Administrative Tribunal's Jammu Bench holds a circuit sitting at Leh and hears more than 30 cases

The Department of Law and Justice of the Union Territory of Ladakh organised a circuit sitting of the Jammu Bench of the Central Administrative Tribunal at Leh. The sitting was held at the Alternative Dispute Resolution Centre, Melongthang, Leh. Mr Sanjeev Gupta, Member (Judicial), and Mrs Pragya Sahay Saksena, Member (Administrative), presided. More than 30 cases were heard, all involving applicants from the Union Territory of Ladakh, and relief was granted in a number of them. Mr Shahnawaz Ali, OSD (Law), welcomed the Members on behalf of the Administrative Secretary, Law, Shri Jatinder Singh Jamwal. The sitting lets litigants in Ladakh have their service matters heard locally instead of travelling to Jammu.
