Jambu named mascot of Kalikkalam 2026, the ninth State sports meet of the Scheduled Tribes Development Department

The logo of Kalikkalam 2026 and its official mascot, Jambu, are to be released on 4 November at the PRD chamber in Thiruvananthapuram. The release is set for 10.30 in the morning. Kalikkalam is the State-level sports meet organised by the Scheduled Tribes Development Department, and this is its ninth edition. Minister for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes Welfare K.A. Thulasi will carry out the release. The meet brings together students of the 22 model residential schools and the 113 pre-matric and post-matric hostels run by the department. It is meant as a stage for the sporting talent of tribal students in these institutions.
