Kremlin says Russia, the United States and Ukraine will hold trilateral talks in Abu Dhabi in the first half of November
23 October 2026
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on 23 October 2026 that talks on ending the war in Ukraine are planned for the first half of November in Abu Dhabi.
The talks will be held in a trilateral format, with Russia, the United States and Ukraine.
Peskov said European participation could not be ruled out in advance.
The talks will be held in the United Arab Emirates.
The announcement followed US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff's meeting with President Vladimir Putin in St Petersburg earlier in the week.
The earlier US-brokered talks this year had lapsed.
