It will be implemented first at Kozhikode Medical College. He was laying the foundation stone of a new building for the Ulliyeri Block Family Health Centre under Balussery Block Panchayat, with V T Suraj MLA presiding. The minister said about 1800 new posts have been sought from the Chief Minister to meet the shortage of doctors, and that the Chief Minister has assured they will be created in three phases. He said low-cost Indian-made medicines will be provided for children with bone diseases and medicines for rare diseases, including haemophilia, will be ensured.
