Saharsh was evaluated in a large randomised controlled trial with researchers from Harvard and the University of Michigan.
The Indian non-profit Labhya gives technical support and learning inputs to both programmes.

Tripura's first tea auction centre has been opened at the Pandit Nehru Complex in Agartala, and was inaugurated by Chief Minister Manik Saha.
It was set up by the Tripura Tea Development Corporation Limited, with support from the Tea Board of India.
With this, Tripura becomes the second State in the Northeast after Assam, and the fifth in the country, to have its own tea auction centre.
More than half of Tripura's tea had been sold at auction centres outside the State, at Guwahati and Kolkata.
The centre is expected to cut the long sales cycle and the freight and warehousing costs that growers now bear.
Industries Minister Santana Chakma was present at the opening.

Tripura's new tea auction centre serves an industry that the Tripura Tea Development Corporation Limited counts at 54 tea gardens, held by the government, by private owners and by cooperative societies.
Beside them the State has about 2,800 small tea growers.
Made tea output is put at 8 to 9 million kilograms a year, along with roughly 45 million kilograms of green tea leaf.
Tripura is the fifth largest tea producing State in India, after West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
A tea auction centre is the place where lots of made tea are graded, tasted and sold to the highest bidder, and that is how most Indian tea reaches buyers.
Setting up an auction centre inside the State had been listed by the Corporation as one of its aims, which is what the Agartala centre now answers.
